RESEARCH
The scheme is driven by site context and holistic sustainable design, through passive environmental control methods to deal with light, heat and air in architecture. Through an integrated design approach the existing movement and usage have been carefully considered for an initial design proposal, which then developed through performance testing to enhance architectural poetics.

EVALUATE
The scheme is driven by site context and holistic sustainable design, through passive environmental control methods to deal with light, heat and air in architecture. Through an integrated design approach the existing movement and usage have been carefully considered for an initial design proposal, which then developed through performance testing to enhance architectural poetics. Â
The identity of the scheme and its links with the surrounding upcoming proposals are strengthened by integrating it with the context in terms of its language, material and expressions.  The scheme reuses existing routes for efficient vehicular and pedestrian access. The pedestrian domain is encouraged through the pedestrian routes that go through the site.

DESIGN
The concept behind the proposal is the green decks that bind the whole proposal together. The idea was to have green decks at different levels as a private spill over from the units. The separated yet still connected movement of the private and public, internally as well as on the external edge was considered and perceived in a more holistic manner.
The ground floor behind the commercial edge is allocated for services and for basic treatment plants. The space on top of the commercial edge was proposed as a communal gathering space catering to activities by providing a public access to it. Thus this communal space exploited its prime location and its view towards the Victoria park. A waste management route was developed through the back edge of the commercial zone.
